Tom Harman came to The King's College in 2014 and originally worked with both the men's and women's soccer program before focusing on the mens program from the 2016 season. Coach Harman also serves as the assistant athletics director.

Coach Harman became the head coach part way through the 2015 season and has seen the program improve their win record and ranking each season since. After finishing 5th in a 10 team conference in 2016, the 2017 season saw the Men's team achieve their first winning season since the school relocated to NYC, recording an 6-4-2 season.

During his time at Kings 8 players have been selected to the all conference team of the year, with 2 players winning HVIAC Conference Rookie of the year, 1 HVIAC Conference player of the year, 1 USCAA National player of the year and 2 USCAA national team of the year awards

Coach Harman was awarded both the 2018 HVIAC Conference Coach of the year and 2018 USCAA National Division 2 coach of the year

He currently holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma, USSF D license and a Masters Degree in Coaching & Athletic Administration. Coach Harman has a wealth of coaching experience having worked in several countries, including his home country of England, with West Bromwich Albion on their community coaching program, and also in South Korea where he coached at a professional K-League academy. He has worked across the board in soccer, coaching men’s teams, youth teams and women’s teams here in the US.  He has worked with NY stars Premier and Manhattan Soccer club whilst in the city, and is also currently the assistant coach to the Brooklyn Italians Men's NPSL team, and technical director and Brooklyn City Football Club.
