7 King's Athletes Make HVIAC Academic All-Conference Team

The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced their 2017 Fall Sport All-Academic Team today. Instituted in the 2010-11 season, the All-Academic Team recognizes excellence both on the field of play and in the classroom. To qualify for the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have reached a sophomore academic standing and have maintained a 3.3 cumulative grade point average and participated in one of the conference's fall sports—men's & women's soccer, men's & women's cross country, women's tennis and women's volleyball.

Seven King's student-athletes were selected to join HVIAC Academic All-Conference teams.

Women's Soccer led the way for King's Athletics with three students making the selection: Junior Captain Megan Le Blanc and sophomore defender Hannah Hagadorn.

Men's Soccer saw sophomore pair Josiah Simons and Jackson Kane selected.

Women's Volleyball sophomores Savannah White and Mary Katherine Samelson also made the Academic All-Conference team.

Finally, Cross-Country captain Micah Paulec rounded off a fantastic season with his entry.
